Silvio Gaytón
Silvio Gaytón (b. Havana, Cuba). He studied at the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts for seven years without interruption, and took courses at the School of Advertising. Silvio first emigrated to Caracas and then to Madrid, where he worked for advertising agencies. Finally, in 1966 he established residence in the United States. He has widely exhibited at several solo and group shows throughout the U.S. His work is part of the collections of Highland Museum of the Arts (Sebring, FL), The Florida Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art (Miami), Colby Gallery (Chicago, IL), as well of corporate and private collections in the U.S. and abroad.
